Bianca Robles-Muñoz, a Speech and Hearing Science major, has been selected to participate in the prestigious Big Ten Academic Alliance Summer Research Opportunities Program. The program was created to increase the number of underrepresented students who plan to pursue graduate study and research careers; SROP prepares them for graduate study through intensive research experiences with faculty mentors and enrichment activities. Now in its 34th year, SROP boasts 610 program alumni who have earned a PhD degree.

Bianca also is completing minors in  American Sign Language and Latino/a/x Studies and is a research assistant in the Psycholinguistics Lab, where she is mentored by Kristi Hendrickson.

Congratulations, Bianca!
