students providing teletherapy
Sam Galligan and Kate Lennon, both MA-SLP graduate student clinicians, lead a group of clients with Parkinson's disease via Zoom teletherapy from the Voice Therapy Room in the Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Center. The SPEAK OUT!® & LOUD CROWD® voice therapy exercises help these clients maintain vocal intensity.

Karen Bryant, PhD CCC/SLP, Clinical Associate Professor, has again been awarded a 2022 SPEAK OUT!® & LOUD CROWD® grant from the Parkinson Voice Project. This award provides training and materials for Dr. Bryant and graduate student to learn specific therapy methods for clients with Parkinson's disease who experience voice symptoms.

Congratulations on this good news for Dr. Bryant, our graduate student clinicians, and clients of the Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Clinic.
