Biography

Toni Cilek is a Clinical Associate Professor Emeritus in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Iowa. She holds a Master of Arts degree and is certified as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP). Professor Cilek's area of focus is the assessment and treatment of adults and children with fluency disorders. Her experience includes developing and coordinating intensive programs for school aged children who are disfluent as well as providing outreach and support for school-based speech language pathologists who have these children in their caseloads. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to clinical education and the advancement of speech-language pathology practices.
