Explore CSD's research labs where you'll discover faculty with expertise in fields as diverse as audiogenomics, fluency, auditory physiology, and linguistic diversity, with a new faculty member joining in Speech-Language Pathology in Fall 2023.  

Our collaborations are powerful. Faculty team up with individuals from the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, the Department of Neurosurgery, and the departments of Psychological and Brain Sciences and Computer Science, and the College of Public Health. Additionally, there are many other innovative programs with strong ties, including the Development and Learning from Theory to Application (DeLTA) Center, the multidisciplinary Center for Disabilities and Development (CDD), the Iowa Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program, and Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Neuroscience.
