Professor Carolyn Brown presented the CI2023 John Niparko Memorial Lecture in Dallas at the American Cochlear Implant Alliance meeting. Her lecture was entitled Cochlear Implants at IOWA: 1983 to 2023.

The Niparko lecture is given in honor of  Dr. John K. Niparko’s enduring commitment to cochlear implant research and clinical care and in recognition of his significant contributions to the field.

Although she is too modest to admit it, her talk was given a standing ovation. Bravo, Dr. Brown!
