The University of Iowa Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders partners with clinical preceptors across diverse practice settings to support the training of AuD graduate students. This page provides information on preceptor qualifications, expectations, grading procedures, and instructions for using Typhon to track hours and complete evaluations.

Our goal is to ensure clear communication and a positive, collaborative experience for both the student and the clinical site.

  • At least nine months of practice experience post‑certification
