Three new videos spotlight the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The videos – featuring clinical assistant professor Kellsie Busho, graduate student clinician Morgan Linneweh, and fourth-year undergraduate Katelyn Rahe – provide a glimpse into how CSD personnel are using the new spaces in the Health Sciences Academic Building.
Kellsie Busho
Busho, director of clinical programs – audiology, discussed the new clinical spaces in her interview. She noted the updated technology, observation rooms, and clinical opportunities offered by the new space.
“Our clinic mission is front and center in everything that we do,” Busho said. “Every patient who walks in is going to get high-quality patient care.”
Morgan Linneweh
Linneweh, speech-language pathology graduate student clinician, provided a graduate student perspective on the opportunities of the new space. She noted the readiness of treatment rooms and the openness of the space as highlights.
“All of the treatment rooms and therapy rooms are really well-equipped,” Linneweh said. “They’re really ready for us to bring clients in.”
Katelyn Rahe
Rahe, a fourth-year speech and hearing science major, provided an undergraduate perspective. She similarly highlighted the openness of the space and mentioned the new lab spaces as an additional benefit.
“I’ve absolutely loved the program,” Rahe said. “All the professors are so supportive and kind.”
