Kerrigan is an PhD student and Clinical Fellow in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department. She started her PhD in the fall of 2025 and clinical fellowship in the summer of 2026. She earned her B.A. in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from George Washington University and her M.A. in CSD from the University of Iowa. 

Kerrigan works under the mentorship of Naomi Rodgers in the Stuttering Lab. Her current research focuses on the neural underpinnings of stuttering anticipation and visual-social attention of young people who stutter. These research interests stem from a strong desire to help people live well with stuttering. 

When not in class, clinic, or the lab, Kerrigan enjoys reading, knitting, and cycling.
