Rachel Scheperle, Au.D., Ph.D., CCC-A
Rachel Scheperle is an audiologist and hearing scientist specializing in cochlear implants and electrophysiology. She oversees the Cochlear Implant Electrophysiology laboratory at the University of Iowa, Hospitals and Clinics, and is adjunct assistant professor for the Communications Sciences and Disorders department. Her background includes clinical audiology, teaching and hearing science research. Her primary interests involve exploring what physical and physiological measures reveal about the structural and functional status of the auditory system with translational applications to informing clinical decisions, assessing interventions and evaluating outcomes.
