STRONG Voices for Parkinson’s is a free voice practice group for people who have completed individual therapy in SPEAK OUT!, LSVT LOUD or PhORTE. The group focuses on maintaining voice skills from therapy and providing opportunities to practice your STRONG Voice.

We meet weekly on Tuesdays at 2:30 and Thursdays at 10:00 on Zoom for the Fall semester. The groups reinforce the skills you learned in therapy through vocal exercises, reading aloud, and fun, engaging activities. Sessions are run by graduate student clinicians who are supervised by a licensed speech-language pathologist. Join us to keep your voice STRONG!

Groups meet year-round on virtually on Zoom two times a week and you are welcome to attend either or both sessions. The group is free and open to new members.

To join, please contact Louise Pinkerton (louise-pinkerton@uiowa.edu) or call our clinic office at 319-335-8736.
