Chaewon Park joined the PhD program in Fall 2020. She works with Dr. Kristi Henderickson. Her research focuses on word retrieval changes in people with neurogenic communication disorders, particularly aphasia and dementia, and in the typical aging population.

She earned a BA in Thai and a BBA in Business Administration from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, South Korea, and an MA in Communication Disorders from Ewha Womans University, Seoul, South Korea. She completed an internship in the Social Human–Robot Interaction Laboratory at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology before joining the PhD program.

She enjoys traveling, swimming, and cooking in her free time.
