Associate Professor Beth Walker has received a new competing R01 research grant entitled “Factors associated with reading comprehension in adolescents who are hard of hearing” from the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Co-Investigators on the grant are CSD colleagues Dr. Kristi Hendrickson and J. Bruce Tomblin, University of Iowa College of Education/Department of Teaching and Learning Professor Deborah Reed, College of Public Health/Department of Biostatistics Professor Jacob Oleson, and Director of Research at Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE, Dr. Ryan McCreery.
