Beth Walker, associate professor, was presented with the Early Career Research Award from the American Auditory Society. She accepted the award and give a talk at the AAS meeting February 25. Bravo, Beth!
Add creative writing to Sarah Kingsbury's resume

Sarah Kingsbury, third-year AuD student, won the adult division of the 2022 UI Flash Writing Contest, sponsored by the UI Center for Advancement. Her 1,000-word story, "The Smell of Success," plays off a writing prompt featuring a make-up artist and an onion. She was one of 238 UI alumni and friends from around the world who submitted short stories during January's contest.

The Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Clinic seeks a part-time (50%) Clinical Speech-Language Pathology Supervisor with an emphasis on adult neurogenic language disorders. Duties include: case management and supervision and teaching of MA/SLP graduate students in clinical practice, including individual and/or group meetings with students, supervision of clinical practice, providing feedback on clinical work and documentation, developing students’ critical thinking skills, grading, and evaluation of graduate students.
