Faculty and graduate students conducted speech, language, and hearing screenings for children in local preschools and daycares last month.

Current and past members of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) board of directors took part in a two-day visit. The visit featured a roundtable discussion and a professional development seminar.

The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the University of Iowa College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is home to two top 5 graduate programs in the nation: #2 audiology and #5 speech-language pathology.
