Biography

Fernanda is an SLP and audiologist from Santiago, Chile. A year after graduating from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), she began her Master's degree in Speech and Language Sciences at the University of Chile, where she researched the effects of hypernasality on perceptual judgments. She has experience in the treatment and training of professional and occupational voice users and has worked as an academic at the PUC, teaching some voice and phonetics courses. Her main research interests are acoustic phonetics and the study of voice science and disorders.

Outside of academia, she enjoys singing and listening to music.
