Jae Ho Han
Jae Ho Han joined the Ph.D. program in Fall 2024. He earned a B.A. in Linguistics and Cognitive Science from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea and completed an M.S. in Audiology from Hallym University of Graduate Studies, also in South Korea. Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at Iowa, he worked as an audiologist at a hearing aid center in South Korea.
He works with Dr. Yu-Hsiang Wu in the Hearing Aid and Aging Research Laboratory. His research focuses on developing efficient and accurate methodologies to evaluate perception and human behavior in speech communication for individuals with hearing loss, aiming to improve hearing aid benefits.
In his free time, he enjoys running with his wife, watching sports, and cooking various cuisines.
