Jusung Ham

Biography
Jusung Ham joined the PhD program at Iowa in fall 2022. Jusung’s curiosity about music and the brain led him to the world of auditory neuroscience. His research interest is mainly in auditory perceptual training, especially for cochlear implant users. He has a background in cognitive science and machine learning. He works with his mentor, Inyong Choi, in the Human Auditory Neuroscience Group lab.
Jusung will receive his degree on August 7th, 2026. He will begin his work in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at Northwestern University in Dr. Bharath Chandrasekaran’s lab as a Postdoctoral researcher in October.
