Biography
Dr. Karla McGregor is a Professor Emerita in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Iowa. She is also the Director of the Center for Childhood Deafness, Language, and Learning at Boys Town National Research Hospital, where she works as a Senior Scientist. Dr. McGregor’s research focuses on language learning and processing in individuals with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and related neurodevelopmental conditions. She is a passionate advocate for people with DLD and their families, contributing significantly to both research and clinical practices in the field.
