Meaghan Foody, MS, CCC-SLP
Clinical focus
Meaghan Foody is a speech-language pathologist whose specialization is Aural Rehabilitation across the lifespan, supporting the SLP clinical degree program. She provides diagnostic and treatment services in both pediatric and adult populations, primarily for individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing at the University of Iowa Speech Language and Hearing Clinic as well as in the department of Otolaryngology at Iowa Healthcare. In the summer, Meaghan co-directs the Communication Explorers program for children who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing we well as UI SHINE (University of Iowa Summer Program for Youth Who Stutter or are Deaf/Hard of Hearing in an Inclusive, Nurturing Environment). Meaghan is passionate about emphasizing collaboration between professional students in the areas of speech-language pathology and audiology to maximize patient outcomes post cochlear implantation and/or hearing aid fittings.
